Harvey Nichols to Open in Kuwait

This may be 2 years off, but Harvey Nichols is finally going to open in Kuwait in 2011!!!

According to Telegraph...

The three-storey Kuwait store will be part of The Avenues, a shopping centre that is already home to the likes of Ikea and Debenhams and which is slated to be one of the five largest in the world when it is finally completed. The store will run be as a franchise by MH Alshaya Co, the successful retailer that operates Starbucks outlets throughout the Middle East and Russia. (Telegraph)

The Palm Villas

I never thought it would turn out this nice (BTW, this actual villa was not fully completed yet)... But wooow, The Palm Villas are something else!!! I visited a villa of a friend of mine a month ago and the view and aura of the place just got to me. It's like being at the shalaih all week long (minus the loud jet-skis and bikes). I LOVE IT!!!

Top Gear's White Stig Revealed!!!

For years the identity of The Stig has been a closely guarded secret, but Collins – who has previously competed in Formula Three, Le Mans, GT and NASCAR – has apparently outed himself to staff at a Bristol gallery.

The 33-year-old let his secret slip when he asked them to help him produce a limited-edition print of The Stig in action. Gallery owner Simon Whitehead, 27, said: "I was absolutely amazed when he said he was The Stig, it was quite a big thing in a weird way."

Builder Jason Goody, 21, also discovered The Stig's identity when he did some work at Collins' home and found the famous white suit and gloves on display in a cabinet.

Other fans of Top Gear, presented by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, have been closing in on Collins in recent months. One YouTube clip shows The Stig, in full disguise, talking with a Bristol accent to a foreign TV crew – and then cuts to Collins sounding very similar.

The first Stig, stunt driver Perry McCarthy, lost the job after outing himself in his book Flat Out, Flat Broke, published in 2002. He was known as The Black Stig and always wore a black suit and helmet before he was "killed off" during the third series in 2003. Collins has since become The White Stig, and wears an all white helmet and suit.

The identity of White Stig has not been officially revealed and is regarded as a carefully guarded secret by the BBC. A Top Gear spokesman said: "We never comment on speculation as to who or what The Stig is." (Telegraph UK)

For those of you wondering where the name Stig is derived from: "The Stig's name derives from Clarkson's days at Repton School where, he said, new students were always called "Stig"."

Fox cancels Prison Break!!!

Fox has slammed the cell door on Prison Break. The network announced today that this is the final season for the show, which will be seen beginning April 17th.
The show is just played out," Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly told The Hollywood Reporter. "Creatively everybody feels enough stories have been told ... we want to finish strong and not just give out next season."

Reilly hinted that while the show has "a cool ending,"and that there may be a couple extra episodes tacked on this year, to really wrap things up. Those episodes have not yet been shot. (CinemaBlend)

Classic "Duck Hunter" Nintendo Game now Interactive

I can't wait to get my hands on Duck Hunter from Interactive Toy Concepts.

The Duck Hunter takes the Nintendo classic 'Duck Hunt' and moves it into the physical world... minus the real fire arms and bloody carcasses that would normally be involved. A small version of their iFly line of robotic fliers is painted up to look like a duck and fitted with a sensor. After launching your target, you have 30 seconds to hit it three times with the included light gun while it flies through the air. Succeed, and it shuts off and plummets to the ground like a lead balloon. 

A base version of the Duck Hunter (as described above) will run $30 while a premium version (including a controller so one person can actually fly the duck while another shoots) will cost $40 and will be available this Spring. (Gizmodo)
